(A) James M. Barger and his family resided in Jesup, Buchanan Co., IA, where he was engaged in the merchantile business.
(B) Benita Barger was employed by the Jesup State Bank in Jesup, IA.
(C) Grace Barger was attending the Nurses Training School in Iowa City, IA in 1924.
(D) James M. Barger was the grandson of the Reverend Nathaniel Barger of New York. Although A. L. Barger did not identify the parents of the grandfather, it appears that this family is descended from the Putnam Valley Barger family of New York.
