(B) John Barger (son) was a soldier in the Civil War, entering the service in 1861 as a volunteer. He was severely wounded by a shell in 862, which incapacitated him from further military service. He died from the effects of the wound in 1867.
(C) Theodore Barger was also known as "Tice" Barger.
(D) William A. Barger was a farmer in Knoxville, and later in Milan, TN.
