(F) Shepard Lagusta Barger and his wife are both buried at Hollywood Cemetery in Jackson, Midision Co., TN.

(G) A. L. Barger noted in his 1924 Barger Journal that he had received correspondence from Shepard Barger telling the story of the Barger Family of West Tennessee. As of 1998, no copy of that correspondence as come to the attention of the Barger Family History Society.

(H) This family is descended from the Alfred Barger family of West Tennessee.
