"WILLIAM (SHORTY) BARGER - William Kelcy (Shorty) Barger, aged 62, of 3007 Eureka Gardens Road, North Little Rock, a switchman for the Missouri Pacific Lines, died Friday. He was a member of the Highway Baptist Church and the United Transportation Union. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Anna May Land Barger; three sons, Kelcy Earl Barger of Phoenix, Ariz., Robert E. Barger of Jacksonville and Richard Wayne Barger of Kansas City, Kan; his mother, Mrs. Ester Barger of Jacksonville; three sisters, Mrs. Lila Ball of Jacksonville, Mrs. Lasia Risner of Kansas City and Mrs. Lemer Baker of Little Rock, and eight grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Griffin-Leggett."
