and his second wife, Mrs. Lydia Salmon Davidson. They had one
son, George W. Barger, who was born 3 Dec 1850.
(B) Andrew Barger and his brother, John Barger, bought
their father's farm in Breckinridge Co., KY. John later sold
his interest to Andrew who also owned a store and tannery.
(C) Harvey Barger served four years in the Confederate Army.
He and his wife are buried at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Pemiscot
Co., MO.
(D) Philip Barger fought in the Civil War and was killed in
a guerilla attack at Kennett, MO.
(E) The 1860 Census of Breckinridge Co., KY indicates that
the brothers, Philip and William Lewis Barger, were living
next door to eachother.
(F) Richard Edward Barger resided in Pemiscot Co., MO. He served
in the Union Army during the Civil War.
(G) This family is descended from the Peter Berger family of Rowan County, NC.
